2. Avoid Overpriced Taxis
You can go anywhere you want using Paris subway. The underground rail system there is very extensive. Don’t waste your money on overpriced taxis.
3. Free Louvre Entrance
Entrance to the famous Louvre Museum is free on first Sunday of each month from October to March. Moreover, if you want to avoid the long ticket lines, get in through the Carrousel du Louvre entrance and you’ll get right to the ticket counter. You can also get past queue if you have a Paris Museum Pass.
4. Stay in Hostels
Hostels offer great accommodations to people seeking budget stay. Most hotels in Paris are extremely expensive. Speaking of budget stay, dorm rooms in Paris can be taken €15, and private rooms in hostels begin around €50.
5. Pick up Lunch at Outdoor Markets
Paris is a market city, with food markets spread throughout the city. If you want to save money on food, head to one of the markets, you can pick up some cheese, wine, bread, meats, or anything you want, and head to the park for a picnic. (Or grab a sandwich for later!) You’ll see the locals doing the same thing, and it’s one of the cheaper ways to genuine experience taste of French food.
